High Density Polyethylene Sheets (HDPE)
sheeting by New Process Fibre
High density polyethylene (HDPE) is a corrosion resistant material that delivers a higher
impact strength and resistance to temperature extremes than low density polyethylene (LDPE).
It has excellent tensile strength and resists abrasion and stress cracking. Its superior
chemical resistance is combined with excellent machinability, water/salt resistance, a
low coefficient of friction and natural self lubrication properties. High density polyethylene fabricates easily
for a variety of industrial applications including food processing, chemical and petroleum
manufacturing, pharmaceutical processing, tanning and conveyor construction.
New Process high density polyethylene sheets can be heat formed, shaped and welded to fabricate flexible components. While it cannot be cemented, High density polyethylene is easily welded with a plastic welder.
High density polyethylene is not UV stabilized, but meets FDA standards. Its weather resistant surface won't wrinkle. High density polyethylene has a density of .95. and a working temperature of -60 to 295°F. Translucent in its natural form, High density polyethylene sheeting may be custom produced to match specific colors, thicknesses, sizes and finishes. It is screen printable. High density polyethylene is 100% recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly product.
